  • Why? Why? And Why?

These are the only questions that have made me who I am today.

But if someone had asked me these questions a few years back, the answers would have come straight from my mouth without much thought.

These days, however, most of the time, I ask myself why, why and why.

The answers that come after asking these questions have finally helped me identify deeper, more meaningful answers that provide more insights and are more beneficial to me.

Have you ever tried this in your life?

If not, I suggest you start questioning your actions and reactions.

It will help you reflect and see which side your actions align with.

For instance, you might yell at your partner, your parents or your friends.

Ask yourself, why did you yell at your partner?

The answer might be, “Because she yelled at me.”

But why did she yell at you?

The answer might be that you did something wrong.

Or perhaps she couldn’t find something she had placed on the bed, sofa or table.

Ask yourself, did you move it?

If not, you can help her find it and calmly tell her that you didn’t move it.

But just because she yells at you doesn’t mean you have to yell at her. Saying that she yelled at you first is simply an excuse for your reaction.

    Ask yourself:

    Why am I yelling?

Because she yelled at me first.

But why am I yelling just because she is yelling at me?

Can’t I answer quietly and calmly?

Why am I like this? Why?

This realisation can help you gain better control over your actions, handle situations more calmly and develop better habits.

The same goes for your parents.

    Why are you yelling?

Because they are not listening to you, or they are taking too much time.

    But why are you yelling?

They are your parents. Can’t you speak slowly and calmly?

Why can’t you wait a little longer?

The deeper you question yourself in every situation, the stronger you can become and the healthier your relationships can be.

Start from today and see the changes.

The way to uplift your soul.

  • Do you reflect on your actions?

The difference with self-reflection is that it allows us to change within before trying to change the world.

It plays a crucial role in our lives, and there is a vast difference when we practise it.

An individual who reflects on their actions can become calmer, a better listener, more respectful, understanding and supportive.

However, without self-reflection, we can become the opposite—angry, using mean words towards others, not listening to anyone and hardly being supportive.

I leave it to you to decide whom you want to be.

But remember, people see us as an example of how they want to be. Choose what kind of example you want to set for those younger than you.

A friend of mine who works in aged care gave me a few examples. From listening to her words, I came to a conclusion that it does make a big impact on younger people.

She was worried that she might become like the person she described as a bad example. She was worried that she might yell, shout and use swear words towards the very people who are helping her—people who are gentle and listen to her. She was worried that she might affect everyone around her at that age.

She also mentioned that she wants to be like another elderly woman who is very dearly loved, cute, and speaks softly. She doesn’t yell and even teaches the younger ones.

This is an example of how we can become either of them if we don’t change our minds and our behaviour now.

And it can only happen if we start looking back at our actions throughout the day, especially at night, and ask ourselves:

What could I have done differently today?

Because the person we become tomorrow starts with the person we choose to be today.

  • Make Time for the People You Love

    “Sorry Mom, I’m busy today.”

“Dad, I’m so sorry. I’m busy this whole week. Can we meet another time?”

“Babe, I’m busy this whole month. Could you please take the kids on vacation?”

“Guys, I don’t have time this year. Sorry.”

“Baby, why don’t you think about the future? Will you please stop asking if I care? Come on, babe. Can’t you see I’m doing all of this for us? Why are you like this?”

If I had known it would turn out like this, I wish I had never met you.

Look at how harsh you are. How cruel. How selfish and cold you can be.

You want your loved ones to see things through your eyes, but why can’t you try to see the world through theirs?

All they want is to spend time with you—to make memories and share their stories, their feelings, and their lives with you.

But you don’t have time to think about any of this.

If you wanted to be so busy, why did you bring someone into your life? Why did you waste their time?

None of your excuses can ever justify or replace the moments they simply wanted to share with you.

The pain we cause our loved ones can be unbearable.

Money can buy comfort, but it cannot buy back time, and it cannot buy every form of happiness.

While building your dream, you might just lose ours.

So please, make time for your family and friends today.

If you don’t reflect on your actions now, regret is all you may have left in the end.

I hope you take the time—starting now, and always.

  • Both sides of the coin

Both sides of the coin are equally important.

Having more on one side could bring imbalance or even disaster.

Please live your life to the fullest, so you don’t regret it when you get old.

And earn while you can, so you don’t regret it later.

Choose wisely, because everyone’s perception of life is different.

    Money is important.

Living your life is also important.

Don’t sacrifice one completely for the other.

You need both to live a life without regre

  • We human

We human beings judge others so much that we trap ourselves in a black hole of our own making.

We seem wired in a way that makes it almost impossible to sit still without judging someone—or worrying that others are judging us for every little thing we do or say.

You might think these are two completely different problems, but they are actually the exact same thing.

You expect from the world what you project into it.

If you weren’t constantly judging others, why would you constantly worry that someone else is judging you.

It comes down to this: project positivity, and you will start seeing good people everywhere. Focus on negativity, and you’ll feel surrounded by dark energy.

If you haven’t noticed this before, try paying attention to it starting today. You might suddenly see the world from a completely different perspective

  • The journey of life

The journey of life is so beautiful, yet many of us have never truly seen it clearly.

We cross paths with so many beautiful souls. We encounter others who are the complete opposite—people we’d rather not recall for even a second. And with so many more, our interactions feel completely neutral. At least, that’s what we believe, right?

But there is always a reason we meet someone on this journey.

Someone enters our life for a few days, someone for a few months, someone for a few years, someone for decades, and someone forever.

Every encounter gives us a valuable lesson. We either learn that we want to be like them, or that we never want to end up like them.

But here is the thing we so easily forget: we are that same lesson for other people. They might be looking at us, deciding if they want to follow in our footsteps or avoid them altogether.

So please, be good to every human being you meet. Leave them with a reason to look up to you, or at least remember you with kindness.

We only get this one life to be good to another. The next life is unknown, and it’s unlikely we will ever remember who we were in the past. Make this one count.

  • About life

Do you realize how much we are alike?

The same colored blood runs through our veins. The exact same kind of heart beats beneath our chests.

How have we failed to realize that we are hurting one another? How small-minded of us to think we can treat people however we please.

Some people don’t speak much. Some argue too much. Some simply do whatever they are asked to do.

But none of this gives us the right to belittle anyone.

Just because someone else is treating others poorly doesn’t mean you should, too. We are mature enough to distinguish between right and wrong—we don’t need to follow bad examples.

So please, be gentle, be polite, and be good to every soul you cross paths with.

Life is about sharing happiness with one another. Life is about caring for your loved ones. Life is all about creating good memories.

  • Unfolded Lies and Folded Truth

The lies that are open to us.

We blame others for our situation.

We get angry when things are out of our control.

We feel worthless when we can’t achieve what others have achieved.

We expect something in return when we give.

These are the lies we tell ourselves.

But then there is the truth—the truth that is hidden.

Maybe you are in this situation because of your own choices.

Maybe you are angry because you know your hands are tied, and there is nothing you can do.

Maybe you know you didn’t work hard enough to achieve your goals.

Maybe you are expecting something in return, and that’s why you helped someone.

The truth is sometimes difficult to accept.

But to uncover the hidden truth, you just need to look within.

Look at the root of everything.

When you fight with people, look within.

When you blame others for your situation, look within.

When you feel angry, ask yourself why.

When you feel worthless, ask yourself what you can change.

    Everything starts from within.

And when you start looking within, the picture becomes clearer.

People can live for hundreds of years, yet still never truly understand themselves.

    Don’t be that person.

    Look within.

    Face the truth.

    Wake up.

    Now or never.

  • Why are we like this?

Why are we like this? Why is it so hard to forgive someone who admits their mistakes and tries to make things right?

Sometimes the hurt runs so deep that we simply don’t want them in our lives anymore. And that’s completely okay—you don’t have to keep everyone close. But please, forgive them, let it go, and move on.

When you forgive someone, you choose to do good by them, even if they hurt you. They made a mistake—don’t make the mistake of letting it turn you into someone who hurts others.

We gain nothing by holding onto grudges or feeding our anger. Harboring resentment only poisons your own life, not theirs.

We only get this one life. What is the point of wasting it on bitterness?

Forgive, let go, and move forward. Do what good you can in this world, and never use your pain as an excuse to harm, hurt, or speak harsh words to anyone else.

Focus on doing what is right. Don’t worry about how others act—the only person you can ever control is yourself.

  • What is life?

What is life? How do you define it?

Is it full of pain, sorrow, struggle, cruelty, and selfishness?

Or is it full of love, happiness, growth, kindness, and loyalty?

The truth is, it is both.

Your definition of life depends on your experiences, your understanding, your awareness, and how deeply you reflect on it.

Throughout our journey, we will meet all kinds of human beings.

But how we choose to grow in those environments is what shapes who we are—and who we will become.

When we focus on negativity, we move towards ignorance. We fail to see the truth, and even when it is right in front of us, we doubt it and move backwards.

But when we focus on positivity, we move towards acceptance. We see the truth, acknowledge it, accept it, and move forward.

Life is ultimately about enjoying the present moment, going with the flow, letting go of unnecessary conflicts, and spreading love to the people around us.

Just like nature, we are all serving a purpose for the people in our lives—sometimes in a good way, and sometimes in a bad way.

We are here to learn, to grow, and to understand ourselves.

    Not to fight.

    Not to spread hate.

    Not to judge others.

    So, what is life?

Maybe life is not about whether it is good or bad.

Maybe life is about how we choose to see it, how we respond to it, and how we grow through it.

Life will show you both sides. Choose how you want to live yours.
